Liverpool FC TV

As well as Liverpool FC TV (Liverpool FC’s official website), Liverpool Football Club also has its own dedicated satellite and cable channel called LFC TV, which provides Liverpool FC supporters with dedicated and exclusive Liverpool FC related programming. Both outlets compliment each other and work hand-in-hand.
The channel – which is branded as LFC TV – isĀ free to watch in the UK & Ireland providing you have either the basic Sky package or the XL package on Virgin Media.
LFC TV was launched in September 2007 after fans campaigned for a dedicated channel for years. LFC TV was originally only available as part of the Setanta Sports Pack but the Irish broadcaster fell into administration and ever since then LFC TV has remained free.
While LFC TV gives supporters the chance to watch the Liverpool reserves and Liverpool Youth teams in action, LFC TV is unable to provide coverage of live first team games because of broadcasting restrictions, although some pre-season friendlies are shown from time to time.
LFC TV is ok, it’s not great but it’s better than nothing. Many supporters often joke that they only watch it to cast their eyes over presenter Claire Rourke (pictured). There are too many repeats and not enough original content for our liking. We only watch it to keep an eye on the Liverpool reserves and Liverpool Youth teams.
In fairness to LFC TV, they are limited with the content that they can provide but hopefully one day they will be able to show live games that are actually of real interest. We shall have to wait and see.
LFC TV is free and supporters are lucky to have the access to the channel to catch up on the latest Liverpool FC news and to see what former Liverpool FC players have to say.
The combined efforts of Liverpool FC TV and LFC TV ensure that Liverpool FC supporters around the world can tune into the latest developments at Anfield every day.
